Performance
3 motors, pot, spoon, chopsticks, box, foil, toothbrush, rubber band, plate, wire
in a private room in Münster

I wear a costume made of spoons, chopsticks, pots, and plates—common kitchen utensils—and create music and dance at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. On the floor and walls, there are two moving objects powered by motors. Together, we engage in a spontaneous interaction of movement and sound.
By dancing and making music freely with these objects, I break away from the notion that only professional musicians or dancers can perform. Instead, I experience joy, freedom, and liberation by hosting my own concert in my personal space. While I once felt uncertain about dancing and singing, this performance allows me to embrace a new version of myself—one that plays music and dances freely, unrestricted by external expectations.
